Onoe Kikugorô I
 

The founder of the line Onoe Kikugorô I held this name from November 1730 to December 1783.

Onoe Kikugorô II
 

Born in Kyôto in 1769. He was the son of Onoe Kikugorô I and he made his first stage appearance in January 1776 in Kyôto, receiving the name of Onoe Ushinosuke I. He went with his father to Edo in Fall 1778 and achieved a great success at the Ichimuraza in November, playing the role of a moxa peddler in the drama "Sakimasuya Ume no Kachidoki". He took the name of Onoe Kikugorô II in November 1785, producing the play "Yoshitsune Sembon Zakura" in Ôsaka. He went on tour in Summer 1787 but suddenly died on a boat the 12th of July 1787 (according to others sources, he died the 18th of August 1787).

Onoe Kikugorô II was nicknamed Kobaikô, "the little Baikô".
