The new year sogamono (mixed with elements of oshichi-kichisamono and kagekiyomono) "Fûjibumi Sakae Soga", which was produced by Ichimura Uzaemon IX and was staged in the 2nd lunar month of 1763 in Edo at the Ichimuraza, was staged with the following casting:

The opening day was the 13th day of the 2nd lunar month of 1763, which was the 27th of March 1763.

The unusual feature is the same actor (Ichimura Uzaemon IX) portraying the two Soga brothers, Soga Jûrô Sukenari and Soga Gorô Tokimune ... and the same onnagata (Segawa Kikunojô II) playing the roles of Ôiso no Tora (Jûrô's lover) and Kewaizaka no Shôshô (Gorô's lover).

Ichikawa Raizô I, who did not appear on the illustrations, played the roles of Kyô no Jirô and Saitô Gorô.
