Nakamura Matsue I
  The actor Nakamura Rikô I held the name of Nakamura Matsue I from November 1761 to October 1773.

Nakamura Matsue II
 

Son of the low-ranking actor Ichikawa Kyûzô, he started his career as a disciple of Ichikawa Danjûrô V, who gave him the name of Ichikawa Mitsuzô. He made his first stage appearance as a koyaku actor in November 1775, at the Nakamuraza in the kaomise drama "Hana Zumô Genji Biiki". He became wakaonnagata in 1784. He definitively settled in Kyôto in 1799 and took the name of Nakamura Matsue II in November 1802 at the Inaba Yakushiji Shibai (a miyaji shibai venue). His name disappeared from theater playbills at the beginning of the Bunka era.

Nakamura Matsue III
  The actor Nakamura Tomijûrô II held the name of Nakamura Matsue III from November 1813 to December 1832.

Nakamura Matsue IV
 

Born in 1814. He started his career as the adopted son of Nakamura Utaemon III, who gave him the name of Nakamura Tamanosuke. He made his first stage appearance in January 1818, in Ôsaka at the Kado no Shibai, performing as a koyaku actor. Then, he joined a kodomo shibai troupe in Ôsaka and took the name of Nakamura Umesuke. He took the name of Nakamura Baika I in January 1831, becoming both a zamoto and a wakaonnagata actor, producing the new year drama "Keisei Shigeshige Yawa" at the Naka no Shibai. He finally took the name of Nakamura Matsue IV in January 1835, playing at the Kado no Shibai the roles of Princess Sakura and Osuwa in the new year drama "Keisei Iriai Zakura". He did not hold this name for a long time for he died the following month, the 15th of February 1835.

The actor Nakamura Daikichi III held the name of Nakamura Matsue from 1846 to Winter 1848 but he is not considered as a regular member of this line.

Nakamura Matsue V
  The actor Nakamura Kaishun II held the name of Nakamura Matsue V from April 1967 to March 2002.
Nakamura Matsue VI
  The actor Nakamura Matsue VI is the current holder of the name since April 2006.
