Dates of birth and death unknown. This actor started his career in Kamigata in miyaji shibai, as a disciple of Matsushima Matsuemon, performing under the name of Matsushima Tsurumatsu. His master and he respectively took the names of Arashi Matsuemon and Arashi Jûjirô when they started to perform in 1806 in Ôsaka in hama shibai. He took the name of Nakamura Kumetarô III in November 1811 in Kyôto, playing at the Minamigawa no Shibai the roles of Wada no Hyôe's spouse and Hayase in the drama "Ômi Genji Senjin Yakata". We don't know what happens to him from Summer 1812 for he disappeared from the records.
