Nakamura Tsurusuke I
 

The actor Nakamura Utaemon IV held the name of Nakamura Tsurusuke I from the 3rd lunar month of 1813 to the 10th lunar month of 1825.

The actor Nakamura Shikan III held the name of Nakamura Tsurusuke II from the 11th lunar month of 1825 to the 12th lunar month of 1835.

Born in 1811 in Edo. Disciple of Nakamura Tsurusuke I, he made his debut as a child-actor performing under the name of Nakamura Utaki. He became wakaonnagata and took the name of Nakamura Utanosuke at the end of the Bunsei era (around 1832). He went to Kamigata in 1832, where he became tachiyaku. He became disciple of Nakamura Tôzô III and received the name of Nakamura Tôjaku at an unknown time. He finally took the name of Nakamura Tsurusuke III in the 8th lunar month of 1848 in Ôsaka at the Chikugo no Shibai. This actor was said to be good in yatsushigoto and jitsugoto. He was also appreciated in tachimawari. He died in Ôsaka the 5th day of the 2nd lunar month of 1851.

The actor Bandô Tarô held the name of Nakamura Tsurusuke IV from the 1st lunar month of 1862 to the 1st lunar month of 1864.

Nakamura Tsurusuke V
 

The actor Nakamura Tsurusuke V held this name from the 3rd lunar month of 1871 to September 1892.
