  The actor Onoe Matsusuke III held this name from the 11th lunar month of 1814 to the 10th lunar month of 1821, a second time from the 11th lunar month of 1823 to the 3rd lunar month of 1848, then a third and last time from 1850 to the 7th lunar month of 1851.

Date of birth unknown. He was the grandson of Onoe Kikugorô III and the father of Onoe Baikô VI. His first stage name was Onoe Asajirô. He took and held for a few months in 1874 the name of Onoe Matsusuke. He died the 2nd of July 1874. He was never never acknowledged as an official member of the line.

Born the 24th of March 1887 in Tôkyô. He started his career as a disciple of Onoe Kikugorô V, receiving the name of Onoe Kôkichi. He took the name of Onoe Kikumatsu in April 1897. He became nadai and took the name of Onoe Izaburô in February 1911. He finally took the name of Onoe Matsusuke V in March 1935 but died 2 years later, the 9th of August 1937.
