Dates of birth and death unknown. Disciple of Osagawa Jûemon, he was recorded for the first time in Kyôto at Miyako Mandayû's theater in the 1st lunar month of 1711, when he played as a wakaonnagata the role of Oharu in the new year ni-no-kawari drama "Keisei Kuhonji Jôdo". He went to Edo with Sakakiyama Sukegorô and Takezawa Magoheiji in Fall 1711 and played at the Moritaza the role of Ono no Komachi in the kaomise drama "Kôbai no Momoyoguruma". He was recorded for the last time in the 1st lunar month of 1712, in Edo in the same theater, where he played the role of Oniô Shinzaemon's wife in the new year sogamono drama "Hama Yumi Soga" [1]. His rank in the 1712 Edo hyôbanki, wakaonnagata section, was naka-no-naka (middle in the middle class). No record afterwards.
