Iwai Kumesaburô I
  The actor Iwai Tojaku held the name of Iwai Kumesaburô I from November 1787 to October 1804.
Iwai Kumesaburô II
  The actor Iwai Hanshirô VI held the name of Iwai Kumesaburô II from November 1812 to October 1832.
Iwai Kumesaburô III
  The actor Iwai Hanshirô VIII held the name of Iwai Kumesaburô III from November 1832 to January 1864.

Iwai Kumesaburô IV
 

Born in Edo in 1856. He was adopted by Iwai Shijaku II, who gave him the name of Iwai Hisajirô III. He took the name of Iwai Kumesaburô IV in February 1872 at the Moritaza, playing in the drama "Yuki to Miru Sakiwake Genji". He was requested by his adopted father, who was also the son-in-law of the zamoto Nakamura Kanzaburô XIII to become from July 1879 a manager of the Nakamuraza for a few years. He died the 15th of July 1886.

  The actor Iwai Kumesaburô V held this name from October 1906 to April 1945.
