Ogawa Kichitarô II
 

Born in 1760. Disciple of Ogawa Kichitarô I, he received the name of Ogawa Sentarô and started his career during the An'ei era in miyaji shibai. He took the name of Ogawa Kichitarô II in 1788 and appeared on stage for the last time in August 1792, in Ôsaka at the Kado no Shibai, playing the role of Kataoka Hachirô in the drama "Yoshitsune Sembon Zakura". He died in Ôsaka the 15th of June 1794. He was trained by his master as a specialist of yatsushigoto but did not achieve any big reputation in Kamigata.
