The kaomise drama "Torisaka no Jô Tsuru no Sugomori" was produced by Nakamura Kanzaburô VI at the Nakamuraza in Edo in the 11th lunar month of 1721 [1]. It celebrated the shûmei of Ichikawa Danshirô II and welcomed in Edo the Kamigata actor Yamamura Ichitarô. It was staged with the following casting:
