SARUHIKI

The saruhiki, or sarumawashi, was a street entertainer in Japan during the Edo period and the Meiji era. It can be seen as an important role in the drama "Horikawa" or the dance-dramas "Utsubo Zaru" and "Osome no Michiyuki".
