The kaomise drama "Daimatsu Kyokusuke Tanzen Roppô" was produced in the 11th lunar month of 1756 in Ôsaka at the Ônishi no Shibai by Daimatsu Kyokusuke. It was staged with the following casting:

[1] In fact, a comical character looking like Tônai Tarô. This character was famous in Ôsaka as it usually performed the roppô technique in the tanzen style.

[2] Mihara Ikkaku's son's name could be Ushimatsu or Yoshimatsu. We could prefer Ushimatsu as the boy in this story was born the year of the ox (ushi). He committed seppuku as a migawari self-sacrifice.
