The kaomise drama "Kyôganoko Asahi no Nishiki" was produced in the 11th lunar month of 1751 at the Minamigawa no Shibai by Sakakiyama Shirotarô II. It was staged with the following casting:

Ichikawa Danzô III played the role of Hashidate Ikkaku before the kannushi Ukyô. Others actors were Fujikawa Daizô (Todoroki Satoemon) and Okada Hikoshichi (the servant Kyûshichi). Minakawa Sôza took the name of Someyama Sôjûrô during this kaomise program.

The opening day was the 26th day of the 11th lunar month of the 1st year of the Hôreki era (1751), which was the 12th of January 1752 in the western calendar.
