Date of birth unknown. Disciple of Band˘ Hikosabur˘ I, he started his career in Ky˘to as an iroko at the beginning of the 1720s. He became wakaonnagata in the 11th lunar month of 1726 in Ky˘to, where he performed in the kaomise drama "Shinz˘ Kishi no Himematsu" which was produced by Sanogawa Mangiku. He settled in ďsaka in Fall 1730 and performed in the 11th lunar month of 1730 in the kaomise drama "Kunkoku ďe no K˘bai", which was produced by Asao Motogor˘ I. He went on tour in Nagoya in 1732 and went back to Ky˘to in Fall 1734. He travelled to Edo in Fall 1737 with Tomizawa Tatsunosuke. He performed at the Kawarazakiza in the 11th lunar month of 1738 in the kaomise drama "Kotobuki Momiji Kagemasa". He went back to ďsaka in Fall 1741 and became tachiyaku when he played at the ďnishi no Shibai the role of Murakami Hikoshir˘ in the kaomise drama "Bankoku Taiheiki", which welcomed in ďsaka the Edo actors Ichikawa Ebiz˘ II and his adopted son Ichikawa Danjűr˘ III. He played the role of Ono no Harukaze for the premiere of "Narukami Fud˘ Kitayama Zakura", which was staged in the same theater in the 1st lunar month of 1742. He became sakusha in 1748, using the pen name Toyoda Itt˘. He became also zamoto, producing at the Naka no Shibai Namiki Sh˘z˘ I's kaomise drama "Fuyugomori Tsumagoi Ikusa". He settled in Ky˘to in Fall 1757, playing at the Minamigawa no Shibai in the 11th lunar month of 1757 the role of Ise no Sabur˘ in the kaomise drama "ďyashiro Musubu no Sanban Tsuzuki", which was produced by Sawamura Kunitar˘ I and Somematsu Matsujir˘. He went back to ďsaka in Fall 1762 and played at the Kado no Shibai in the 11th lunar month of 1762 the role of Kinroku in the kaomise drama "Hachinoki Nendaiki", which was produced by Nakayama Bunshichi I and celebrated the shűmei of Arashi Sanjűr˘ III. He appeared on stage for the last time in the 11th lunar month of 1774, in ďsaka at the Kado no Shibai, performing in the kaomise drama "Isagiyoshi Kusunoki Banashi". He died in 1775. He was a refined and elegant actor, with the reputation of a talented musician. He was also called Yorozuya Toyosabur˘.

Dates of birth and death unknown. He was a tachiyaku actor, who held this name in ďsaka in Fall 1779. His relationship with Band˘ Toyosabur˘ I is not clear (disciple? adopted son?). Previous stage name(s) unknown. He played the role of Senzaki Yagor˘ in the classic "Kanadehon Chűshingura", which was staged at the end of the 11th lunar month at the Kado no Shibai (produced by Yoshizawa Iroha I). He was ranked j˘-(shiro)j˘ (superior - (white) superior) in the 1780 ďsaka hy˘banki. There was also a record of his performances in Ise in 1785.

Band˘ Toyosabur˘ III

The actor Morita Matasabur˘ held the name of Band˘ Toyosabur˘ III up to the 2nd lunar month of 1832.
