October 2009: first stage appearance (omemie), at the Kabukiza where he played the role of Otowaka in the danmari "Otowa-ga-Dake Danmari".

January 2014: premiere at the National Theatre of "Sanzen Ryô Haru no Komahiki", a revival of Tatsuoka Mansaku's 1794 drama "Keisei Haru no Tori"; Taiga played the role of Oda Sanbôshimaru [more details].

June 2014: debut on stage (hatsubutai) at the Kabukiza, where he received the name of Onoe Sakon III and played the role of Ranpei's son Shigezô in the spectacular drama "Ranpei Monogurui"; the role of Shigezô's father Ranpei was played by ... his real father Onoe Shôroku IV.

May 2026: Onoe Sakon III takes the name of Onoe Tatsunosuke III at the Kabukiza, where he plays the roles of Soga Gorô Tokimune, the yakko Torazô (in reality Ushiwakamaru) and Fukuyama Katsugi in "Soga no Taimen", "Kikubatake" and "Kurotegumi Sukeroku".
