The actor Nakamura Kumetar˘ II held this name from the 11th lunar month of 1784 to the 7th lunar month of 1808.

Dates of birth and death unknown. This actor started his career in Kamigata in miyaji shibai, as a disciple of Matsushima Matsuemon, performing under the name of Matsushima Tsurumatsu. His master and he respectively took the names of Arashi Matsuemon and Arashi Jűjir˘ when they started to perform in 1805 in ďsaka in hama shibai. He took the name of Hanagiri Tsuruz˘ II in 1806. He took the name of Nakamura Kumejir˘ during the summer of 1809 before finally becoming Nakamura Kumetar˘ III in the 11th lunar month of 1809 [2] in Ky˘to at the Minamigawa no Shibai. This wakaonnagata actor was active in hama shibai or miyaji shibai [3] up to 1820.
