1649: born in Edo. Third son of Nakamura Kanzaburô I. His first name is Nakamura Chôjûrô.

9 June 1658: his father Nakamura Kanzaburô I dies.

December 1668: Chôjûrô and his brother Nakamura Kanzaburô II are invited for the first time to perform a sambasô dance at the mansion of the daimyô Matsudaira Yamato-no-Kami.

August 1673: the Nakamura brothers are invited for the second time to perform at the mansion of the daimyô Matsudaira Yamato-no-Kami; he takes the name of Nakamura Chôzaburô for this performance.

16 August 1674: his brother Nakamura Kanzaburô II dies.

September 1674: Nakamura Chôzaburô takes the name of Nakamura Kanzaburô III.

26 December 1676: a fire breaks out in the district of Hama-chô, burning down the Nakamuraza.

11 August 1678: Kanzaburô dies.

Comments:

Nakamura Kanzaburô III was the third zamoto of the Nakamuraza. He managed his theater for only 4 years. He unfortunately died in his prime.
