9th of October 1897: born in Yokohama.

June 1951: premiere at the Kabukiza of Osaragi Jirô's drama "Yôkihi", which is staged with a Shinpa troupe.

October 1952: premiere at the Kabukiza of Osaragi Jirô's drama "Wakaki Hi no Nobunaga" [casting].

March 1953: premiere at the Kabukiza of Osaragi Jirô's drama "Edo no Yûbae" [casting].

July 1953: premiere at the Shinbashi Enbujô of Osaragi Jirô's drama "Tanuki".

October 1953: premiere at the Kabukiza of Osaragi Jirô's drama "Tsukiyamadono Shimatsu".

November 1971: premiere at the National Theatre of Osaragi Jirô's drama "Sengoku no Hitobito".

30th of April 1973: Osaragi Jirô dies of a liver cancer.
