The actor Nakayama Bunshichi I held this name from November 1748 to October 1752, then from November 1755 to September 1782.

The actor Nakayama Bunshichi II held this name from November 1793 to February 1798.

Nakayama Bunshichi III
 

The actor Nakayama Hyakka held the name of Nakayama Bunshichi III from November 1804 to April 1809, then from November 1814 to 1850.

Nakayama Bunshichi IV
 

Dates of birth and death unknown. He started his career in Kamigata and his first stage name was Nakamura Sentarô. He became disciple of Nakayama Bunshichi III, performing under the name of Nakayama Sentarô in hama shibai or miyaji shibai. His next stage name was Nakayama Jinkichi II. He finally took the name of Nakayama Bunshichi IV after the death of his master Nakayama Hyakka, in August 1850 at the Kado no Shibai. We don't know what happens to him after 1877 for he disappeared from the records. He was expert in wagoto and jitsugoto but spent most of his career in koshibai.
