The new year ni-no-kawari "Keisei Mikasayama" was staged in the 1st lunar month of 1731 in Kyôto at Kameya Kumenojô's theater with the following casting:
Ichiyama Sukegorô I and Ichikawa Sôzaburô I also played respectively the roles of Gengo's younger brother Tamaru Hanroku and Hakusan Daichû. Others actors: Sakakiyama Fujisaburô (the karô Takaichi Daisuke), Ichikawa Toyama III (the goke Tonase), Nakamura Kôshirô (Fujiwaki Mineemon) and Uemura Hanagiku (Haruhi-no-Mae). |
