The actor Nakamura Shikan IV held the name of Nakamura Masanosuke I for a few years at the end of the 1830s.

The actor Nakamura Juzô held the name of Nakamura Masanosuke II from 1854 to 1862.

Born in 1864. Disciple of Nakamura Masajirô II, his stage name was Nakamura Masanosuke but he was never acknowledged as an official holder of the name. He was active between 1880 and the beginning of the 1920s. No stage record afterwards.

Born the 10th of January 1895. Son of the puppeteer Yoshida Tamazô III, he started his career in Kabuki around 1910 as a disciple of Nakamura Kashichi V, who gave him the name of Nakamura Kanosuke. He became a disciple of Arashi Kichisaburô VI in 1913 and received the name of Arashi Kannosuke in 1913. His third master was Nakamura Fukusuke IV from 1928 and his third and last stage name was Nakamura Masanosuke III [1]. He celebrated his success at the nadai exam in 1941 and was active on Kabuki stages up to August 1974. He retired and died in November 1983. He was an important supporting actor in Kamigata.
