Dates of birth and death unknown. Son of Ichikawa Ebijûrô III, his first stage names were Ichikawa Kiyozô and Ichikawa Ebisaburô. He took the name of Ichikawa Takijûrô II during the Kaei era and held it up to his death at the beginning of the Meiji era.
