Seki Sanjûrô I
  The actor Seki San'emon held the name of Seki Sanjûrô I from the 11th lunar month of 1786 to the 8th lunar month of 1792, then from the 3rd lunar month of 1795 to the 6th lunar month of 1796, then from the 1st lunar month of 1797 to the 5th lunar month of 1797, then from the 7th lunar month of 1797 to the 10th lunar month of 1807.

  The actor Seki Sanjûrô II held this name from the 11th lunar month of 1807 to the 9th lunar month of 1839.

Born the 31st of March 1911. He was the nephew of Seki Sanjûrô V and was later on adopted by his uncle, who gave him the name of Seki Hanasuke III in January 1928. He was a supporting actor in Ichikawa Sadanji II's troupe for a few years and took the name of Seki Sanjûrô VI in June 1941. He founded his own troupe after WW2, the Seki Sanjûrô Gekidan, and spent most of his career travelling all over Japan to perform in minor theaters. He died the 22nd of November 1968.
