Born in 1882. He started his career as a disciple of Nakamura Shikan V, who gave him the names of Nakamura Fukujaku and Nakamura Shikazô. He spent two years in Kamigata from 1903 and to 1905. He took the name of Nakamura Takesaburô V in June 1907 at the Kabukiza, playing in the drama "Jûnitoki Kaikei Soga". He started to work as a movie actor from 1909. He was also frequently casted in modern theater productions. He died the 22nd of April 1955.
