The actor Matsumoto Komagorô III held the name of Matsumoto Kin'ichi II from April 1960 to November 1971.

Born the 19th of November 1953. Disciple of Ichikawa Somegorô VI, he received the name of Matsumoto Kin'ichi in April 1975 when he made his debut on stage at the Imperial Theater. He stopped acting and left the Kabuki world in 1979.

Born the 10th of December 1955. Disciple of Ichikawa Danshirô IV, his first stage name was Ichikawa Danju. He left the Omodakaya guild in 1983 and performed under his real name for a while. He became disciple of Matsumoto Kôshirô IX around 1985 and he received the name of Matsumoto Kin'ichi. He was active up to 1987, then he stopped acting and left the Kabuki world.

The actor Matsumoto Kôzô II held the name of Matsumoto Kin'ichi III from May 1991 to December 2017.
