"I was a bit hesitant to try to paint one of Usugrow’s Rebel Ink figures as it’s such a defined shape, but I’m always up for a challenge so I gave it a go. At the request of the client I tried to blend a little bit of a Japanese Opera mask feel into my totem style for this one- I ended up doing a lot of extra work on this guy, but I think it was well worth it as I’m really happy with how it turned out."
