Dates of birth and death unknown. He was recorded for the first time in the 1st lunar month of 1721 when he performed as a katakiyaku
in the new year drama "Shida Yuzuriha no Kagami",
which was produced by Ogino Yaegiri I and Miyazaki Denkichi in ďsaka.
He went to Ky˘to in Fall 1718 and took the name of Hagino Sadaemon and played the role of the sakan Genjibŕ in the 11th lunar month of 1718 in Adachi Sabur˘zaemon's kaomise drama "Shiga no Miyako Kogane no Hanazono",
which was produced by Yamatoyama Jinzaemon I for the nadai Ebisuya Kichir˘bŕ.
He went back to ďsaka in Fall 1719 and took back the name of Matsushima Heijizaemon and played the role of Dobashi Heiz˘ in the 11th lunar month of 1719 in the kaomise drama "Kogane no Mitsu Gashiwa",
which was produced by Kaneko Kichizaemon at the ďnishi no Shibai.
He appeared on stage for the last time in the 1st lunar month of 1731, in ďsaka at the Naka no Shibai, where he performed
in the new year drama "Takechi Jűbŕ Miyako Nishiki" which was produced by Iwai Hanshir˘ III.
Heijizaemon's rank in the 1731 ďsaka hy˘banki,
katakiyaku section, was (shiro)j˘ ((white) superior) [visual].
