He was recorded for the first in the 1st lunar month of 1726 in Edo at the Nakamuraza, when he performed as a d˘kegata in the new year drama "Kadomatsu Shitenn˘", which commemorated the 22nd anniversary (23rd memorial service) of the passing away of Ichikawa Danjűr˘ I. He was active in Edo, mostly at the Nakamuraza, for a few seasons. He was recorded for the last time in Edo at the Nakamuraza, when he played the role of Sasa no Saiz˘ in the kaomise drama "Tono Zukuri Shinoda-zuma". His ranking in the 1736 Edo hy˘banki, d˘kegata section, was j˘-(shiro)j˘ (superior - (white) superior) [visual]. No record afterwards.
